Quoted as written. We did not pick the kindest ones — we picked the ones that say what happened.
In January 2026, we contacted the company and initially requested a site meeting to discuss our requirements in detail. However, we were advised to visit their office instead. Our requirements were discussed, and a quotation was provided based solely on a CAD file obtained from the Dubai Land Department, without a prior site visit.
We made the desired advance payment on January 15, 2026. On the same day, we informed the company of our travel plans from February 9 to March 2, 2026, with the understanding that progress would be made during our absence.
It was agreed that prior to our departure, the company would complete key preparatory steps to enable timely commencement of work. However, progress on these items was limited. Design discussions were minimal, and material options presented were restricted. In several instances, we had to independently source materials, and provide the details to the contractor. Material to be used were shown either on the computer or shared photos on Whatsapp.
Despite both parties being aware of scheduling constraints in advance, the site briefing was not conducted prior to our travel. A proposal to conduct the briefing remotely was made; however, we were not comfortable proceeding without a proper on-site discussion.
During this period, we received multiple revisions of 2D drawings, often containing inaccuracies, and without corresponding finalized 3D designs, which made it difficult for us to review and approve effectively.
Due to travel disruptions, we were only able to return on March 22, 2026, after which the site briefing was conducted. Subsequently, we observed recurring communication gaps, where on-site teams appeared unaware of previously discussed requirements, leading to repeated clarifications and revisions to the scope and quotation.
We were informed that certain materials selected and approved in January—such as tiles, sanitaryware, and countertops had not been procured. This required us to change several previously approved selections, in some cases contrary to our stated preferences. We also experienced limitations in paint options.
A particularly disappointing example was the kitchen cabinetry. We specifically asked for a finish that would be easy to clean. Though we preferred glossy finish, we were persuaded to accept a matte finish. What was ultimately installed was a heavily textured surface that had stains. When we raised this concern, we were told that the material had been shown to us during the design stage. While it is true that a photo of the material was shared with us via WhatsApp, a photograph cannot accurately convey the texture of a surface. The solution offered to us was that they will come and clean them with Thinner. On questioned about future stains - we were told to clean the same with thinner. Recommending a highly flammable chemical for routine kitchen cleaning is both impractical and concerning. Kitchen cabinets are exposed to daily use and only materials that are suitable for that environment must be used.
We declined this proposed solution because it did not provide a practical or long-term resolution. Since then, the issue has been left unresolved, and communication on the matter has effectively ceased.
If the company responds by attributing every issue to our choices, I would encourage prospective customers to remember that clients hire renovation companies for their professional expertise. We are homeowners, not architects or interior designers. It is entirely reasonable for a client to have ideas that may not be practical. The value of an experienced renovation company lies not in agreeing to every request, but in providing honest professional advice, highlighting potential issues before installation, and recommending solutions that are durable, practical, and aligned with the client's needs. In our experience, we did not receive the level of professional guidance we had expected throughout much of ther project.
They took over 6 months for 1 bhk.
Waqas & team were hardworking but seemingly under pressure from the office to wrap up

Renovating with Yalla was an enjoyable experience and a renovation journey I am glad I took. My small one bed apartment looks exactly how I envisaged and I feel very proud that Sathish and his team took on the project. Everyday Sathish sent daily updates to show exactly which tasks had been completed that day and I looked forward to seeing the daily progress. The team were professional and very reliable and I was impressed by their punctionality and helpfulness. I also was extremely impressed by their ability to power ahead at a good speed but also paying attention to every tiny little detail, making sure I was happy every step of the way. They are also very tidy workers cleaning up daily at the end of the day. Sathish and his team really care about everything being perfect in the apartment and were fantastic at checking meticulously before doing anything to make sure they got everything just right. I am extremely happy with our Yalla renovation, on the whole team are easy to work with, understanding, fair and I certainly look forward to working with Yalla as well as Team Sathish hopefully again soon to make as good a job of the next apartment as this one!

We recently completed a full renovation of our 1-bedroom apartment with Yalla Renovation, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The team was highly professional, responsive, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. They guided us well in selecting materials, finishes, and layouts, ensuring everything matched our expectations. The transformation of the apartment is remarkable — the space now feels modern, fresh, and much more functional.
The kitchen and bathroom upgrades were done with great precision and quality workmanship. The painting, joinery, and overall finishing were neat and well-executed. Even with a few site challenges, the team handled everything smoothly and kept us informed at every stage.
What we appreciated most was their commitment to delivering quality work and maintaining clear communication. The project was managed efficiently, and the final result exceeded our expectations.
We are extremely happy with the renovation and would highly recommend Yalla Renovation to anyone looking for a reliable and professional team.

We had a great experience with Yalla when we partially renovated our townhouse in Dubai Hills last year. Their communication was prompt, pricing competitive, and they worked comfortably within my small budget while keeping the interiors practical and functional.
Most of their scope was outdoor. They collaborated seamlessly with my landscape architect, Vana Design (Instagram: @vanadesigndxb), and executed the backyard beautifully - from the landscape lighting to the feature wall, everything was delivered exactly as envisioned.
They also added a lift in a very compact space and were flexible with their timeline to accommodate delays from the elevator manufacturer. On top of that, they managed all the authority approvals and refunds promptly, which made the process much easier for us.
The workmanship was solid and the teams were hardworking. Would recommend them for your next project.

A special thanks to Ruby for helping us with a beautiful and practical kitchen design. She really understood our requirements and came up with a layout that perfectly balances functionality and aesthetics.
Also, a big shoutout to the project team Sathya and Sathish Selvam for managing the entire execution smoothly. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to delivering a high-quality finish made the whole process stress-free.
Very happy with the final outcome and would definitely recommend Yalla Renovations to anyone looking for quality renovation work.
