Al Masood Carpentry Workshop

A total waste of my time. 2 visits, 3 phone calls over 2 weeks just to have a wooden plank cut in equal lenght pieces, not exactly a difficult job. The last lie, "we will deliver it to your home tonight". Never happened. I'll go somewhere else. Update, after owner reply. Not very professional to blame the customer for your shortcomings. At NO POINT i was asked for a deposit, which, if required, I would have had no problem paying. Here are the full details of the story. On 15th september I personally came to the shop. I spent 15 minutes with Mr Sukhprit. I explained my requirement, he showed me some wood samples. He took down my name, number and measurements for the wood in his notebook. We agreed on a price for the job of 300 dhs. He asked me to return two days after to collect. Later on 15 sept. I sent a whats app message to Mr. Sukhprit confirming I would collect on 23rd september. The message was received but not read. I went to the workshop on 23rd september morning to collect the wood. The manager's office was closed. The wood was not ready. One of the workers tried to call Mr Sukhprit, no answer. I tried to call both Mr Sukhprit and his associate Mr. Harbans, no answer. After a while Mr. Harbans calls me, he doesn't know about my order,but passes the message to Mr. Sukhprit, which calls me half hour later. He says the order is not ready but he is preparing the wood to collect on Saturday 25th. On Saturday 25th I call Mr. Sukhprit at about 1 pm, he says the order is not ready because of a "shortage of carpenters", but to come and collect in the evening or, he suggested, he could deliver to my home and asks me to send him my location. I preferred the second option so I sent my location to Mr Sukhprit, the message was received but not read. By 7 pm no one delivered anything. My location message was only read after i posted my 1 star review. P.s. if anyone cares to scroll thru the reviews of this establisment at some point will find a 5 stars review from a Sukhprit Singh.. the "owner" himself. Laughable.

Totally unreliable! I had read the review someone wrote that they had never gotten back to them.... I should have listened to that advice and steered clear of this company!!! I drove across the city to find their workshop. I was greeted in an unfriendly and unprofessional manner. At this point I should have left but I was desperate to get something fixed. I explained what I wanted done and they told me ‘no problem, just send us the measurements’. I did so and although I could see my message was read they failed to respond. I sent follow up messages, all of which were ignored. I’m not sure why they said they would help me then totally ghosted. Don’t waste a minute with this kind of rude, extremely poor customer service!

One of the best workshops in joinery and wood works. Absolutely satisfactory work done by them. Made Office and home doors and furniture. Then we had to engage them once again for reception at my office. Would rate them 7 star if that was available in Google. The best thing is the value for money which we realized once the job was completed. Also the confident and cheerful attitude of Mr. Sukhprit Singh added to the assessment. I would recommend them any day to all my family and friends

Honestly, Sukhprit and his team could not have been more helpful. They did a job for me, so quickly and spot on. I won't go anywhere else for my carpentry needs in Dubai!

Really amazing guys!! I went there quite a few times for lots of requirements including fixing one of my IKEA furniture and the way they fix it was amazing!
