Smart Renovation

We believe a test for good design and execution is how it adapts with use. After living in the apartment for over a year, we can honestly say the quality, finish, and functionality have stood the test of time beautifully. Everything feels immaculately put together, and the apartment is such a joy for me and my family to live in. We especially love how light filters into every room and our beautiful outdoor space. We had the most wonderful experience working with Smart Renovation for our apartment in Dubai. As a designer myself, I came in with many ideas, aspirations, and a desire to try new, creative, and sometimes unconventional design elements. What made the journey so special was how beautifully the team understood our vision, respected my design sensibility, and helped bring everything together with such care and precision. Marco and Cinzia were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. They were not just professional and efficient, but also warm, patient, and genuinely invested in creating a home that reflected us. Cinzia’s sense of design is truly exceptional — she understands every detail, from high-end finishes to smart budget-friendly choices, and knows exactly where to spend and where to save without compromising the final result. That balance made such a difference. One thing I truly appreciated was Cinzia’s personal involvement and passion throughout the project. She was not just managing the design — she was deeply invested in it. Many times, even late in the evenings, she would share new ideas, images, options, and thoughts if she came across something that matched what we were looking for. If we couldn’t find a particular piece or finish, she would proactively suggest alternatives, send references, and even say, “I can get this source if you like the idea.” That level of dedication made me feel completely supported. She never pushed anything just for the sake of completing the job — she wanted me to be fully satisfied and confident before saying, “Go ahead". As a designer myself, I really valued that creative exchange and the way she stayed open to new, funky, and sometimes experimental ideas. What also sets Smart Renovation apart is their after-service. Even a year later, if something needs attention, the team responds immediately and helps resolve it with the same care and professionalism as during the project. The cherry on the cake was that this project ultimately got published — a proud and special moment for all of us. More than just a renovation team, Marco and Cinzia became dear friends through this journey. Thank you, Smart Renovation, for making this experience so seamless, creative, and memorable. As someone who was new to Dubai at the time, you truly helped make this apartment feel like our precious home.

From start to finish my husband and I had the most incredible experience with Smart Renovations. We honestly can’t praise them enough. The company itself is a unique, family run business with talented, warm staff. Cinzia led from the top and was always on hand to share expert ideas and venture on product hunt trips with us, while Tanu (our incredibly talented designer and project manager) oversaw every part of the process from beginning to end…with the patience of a saint. We LOVE our home. Tanu guided us through every decision with professionalism and an expert eye. She listened to our vision and created our dream home. We couldn’t be more grateful to the whole team and especially Tanu for a life changing renovation. If you are lucky enough to work with this team, I would jump at the chance.

The family feeling and genuine personalised care that we received from Cinzia and Marco and the rest of the team, has made the whole journey of our home renovation, an exciting one. On budget. On time. Rich ideas executed wirh the verve of the ‘Made in Italy’ style. Definitely recommend. We spoke to other contractors, but Smartreonovation was in another league.

I was lucky to have Smart Renovation transform my house in my dream house. The team is very competent and Cinzia was always there to help me select the best materials and guide me with patience. She’s a real professional with great taste but also an amazing person.
