DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE. Al Dana Carpentry and its working partner Aqeel are the very personification of everything UNPROFESSIONAL. We had embarked on a home renovation project and made the unfortunate decision of entrusting Al Dana with the carpentry and partition work (construction of 2 cabinets, 1 cupboard, 1 kids loft-bed and a gypsum partitioned room with a door). From the word go, they were a disaster. We had 5 other contractors doing various other works like flooring, wall papering, curtains & blinds, balcony net etc. Every single one of them finished their work perfectly on time. Al Dana's contract was for 10 days and even at the end of a month they were still no where near completion. Can't even begin to explain the torture this company subjected us to. After the first meeting with Aqeel where he sweet talked and made tall promises and took 50% of the advance our nightmare began. Aqeel would NEVER answer the phone or respond to messages. His team would never arrive to do the job at the promised time. After repeated attempts at follow-up, they delivered unfinished furniture at our home. We were appaled to see the state of the delivered items. Not a single piece of furniture was completely finished or functional. Drawers not closing, misaligned cabinet doors, parts and partitions missing (Ex: hinges, handles, magnetic locks, shelves etc), painting not done, edges not smoothened out, door installed without lock, wall panels falling off soon after installation - the list is endless. And the unbelievable part is that, after all this they had the gall to demand the next installment of payment !! And their justification - 'All these are minor problems!!' One cabinet was not even of the design we provided. We refused to budge and cave-in to their explanations and finally had them take it back. Even a small job like fixing a missed drawer handle needed multiple follow ups. And the fact that Aqeel never responded to calls or messages caused weeks of delay on the project. For a start time of 9 AM, the team would arrive at 8 PM for the job. This was done not once but multiple times, causing issues with the building security. We had to take multiple extensions from the building management due to the delays caused by this company. Finally, we had to take this up to the Economic Department and file a Consumer Complaint. This finally got them to show up & finish the job. An update is that, one of the panels they had fixed (for the fourth time) fell off yet again and we contacted Aqeel asking him to arrange to get it fixed. The message remains unread as of this writing! Anyone considering carpentry, do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. Spare yourself the night mare.

Disaster company that you will have only headache. Mr Aqeel is listening to what you are saying but not understanding one word. Not professional at all, same like you are talking to kid. What ever you say he will forgot or do it differently that you agreed (colour, timings, work time, deadlines). Simple thing, i told him i want round cushions green and we agreed on that. And after 3 days he is sending me picture of grey ones. 😂 That was just beginning of disaster. We ordered island table, and we received it but made with damaged wood, with white colour just covering screws, not aligned table and on the end just connected with silicone that came out and it’s visible around the table 🫣 Chairs came 10 days after our agreed time. They couldn’t organise themselves to come and repair everything. And now we will pay other company to repair everything and have less headache since we couldn’t wait them anymore. And yes, on the end he imagined vat 😅 On total price we agreed and payed already half, just on last day vat came. And if you buy something expensive vat is not small, and he never mentioned adding vat. First day they can do everything, they promised us even some extra parts. And that was just to get us pay and then to deliver just half. I wish i was reading comments before, because i found mu self in one of previous comments.

We used Al Dana Carpentry to make our doors, and we were extremely satisfied for the following reasons: a) They clearly explained the work and timeline to us. b) They provided a very fair quotation, which they adhered to. c) They were sharp and precise in both delivery time and workmanship—especially since the work was exceptionally well executed. We are now ordering a wardrobe and kitchen from them again, as we are confident in their work. It is a pleasure to work with them, as Ali is a highly professional person with extensive experience. He is very polite and precise. Strongly recommended.

Al Dana Carpentry LLC renovated our kitchen cabinets, and they did a perfect job. We are very happy with their work. This is the third time we have hired them for carpentry work, and they have always done a perfect job.
